Self Catering Shepherds Huts
Our three shepherd huts are quirky, light, bright and individually styled. Well insulated to keep you warm and toasty in the chillier weather and with double aspect windows and stable doors to enjoy the warmer days. Each has a double bed, wood burning stoves and outdoor areas - one is fully equipped with electricity and private toilet/wetroom. The other two are both off-grid and in our meadow, each sharing facilities.
If you want a "'Great escape in a small place" these Shepherd Huts are for you.

Deer's Leap and Hide & Sea Shepherd Huts are side by side in our Meadow. Both provide a complete getaway and restful retreat.
Our meadow is full of wildlife. Shush and you may sneak a peek at the wild Roe deer grazing in our meadow, before leaping into the woodland or catch sight of the Barn Owl.
No electricity in the huts but all the better for being amazed by the dark skies, we enjoy in this part of the North York Moors.
Battery opertaed lanterns & Candles provided.
A complimentary basket of firewood is included.

SLEEPS 2 - Off-Grid - STRICTLY PET FREE

Both Hide & Sea and Deer's Leap have a comfy handcrafted double bed, furniture and padded bench seating Kitchen area with sink, cold water tap, pots, pans, utensils, crockery, and cutlery. Onsite - Shared Eco Loo and rainwater shower between the two huts and campfire area with BBQ, Fire Pit, Chimenea and seating. Hammocks are provided for you to - lay back, relax and enjoy the view.
Less than 5 minutes walk is our Barn 'The Scratching Shed' with facilities. Private toilet and hand wash basin allocated for each Shepherd Hut.
Shared facilities - between the 2 off-grid Shepherd Huts only are - Shower, Belfast sink with Hot & Cold Water, Microwave, Fridge, Kettle
& Tea making facilities

SLEEPS 2 - Fully equipped with electricity Pet Friendly 1 DOUBLE BED
Fully equipped with electricity and private toilet/wet room attached, Shepherds Watch is situated in the grounds of Meadowbeck Holiday Cottages and close to our Games Room/Utility Barn. Elevated to make the most of the views, Shepherds Watch has an enclosed private garden with Hammock, Picnic Table and BBQ, to the rear Decked area with a table for 2.at the front.

The snug interior is decorated 'countryside chic' with a handcrafted double bed (with storage drawers underneath) & fold up dining table. Comfortable chairs, Pot Belly Stove, flat screen TV, Hairdryer, 2 ring mini grill/oven, toaster, electric kettle& mini fridge.
A complimentary basket of firewood is included.
. Guests have access to the Barn with Games Room and Utility area with additional fridge space Microwave Oven, Iron, Ironing Board and Washer/Dryer.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement only - 1 large dog or 2 small dogs
